SCOTT RATHJEN
EXPERIENCE
Scott has over 30 years in sales, marketing and project consulting. Most recently he held the position of Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Business Development & Product Planning at Iwatsu America in Carlstadt, New Jersey. Prior to that Scott held the position of Regional Sales Manager for Mitel, Inc. While at Mitel, Inc. he held the highest quota and achieved the greatest percentage increase while also managing 7 sales executives. His responsibilities included creating and delivering sales presentations, training, motivation, and product knowledge. Scott started his career as an Account Executive at AT&T's Mid-Atlantic Region. He is a graduate of the AT&T National Sales Training Academy in Aurora, CO.

A versatile marketing executive with senior-level experience in marketing, sales management, product development and launch. Scott is also highly skilled in pricing, profit projection, forecasting, advertising and public relations. He is a seasoned customer and distributor relations expert in addition to meeting and trade show planning Throughout his career Scott has spearheaded employee communications, direct marketing, forecasting, sales incentive and motivational programs for multiple companies. At Trivium Scott is responsible for all facets of marketing, promotion and advertising including social media, industry news articles, coordination of speaking engagements, media opportunities, PR News Releases, book signings, etc.
BACKGROUND
Scott received his MBA from The Raymond A. Mason School of Business at The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. He also earned a double major in Psychology and Art at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
He is an avid outdoor enthusiast and has a passion for skiing and MT bike riding. Scott is a Level 3 and Master Teacher certified ski instructor form the Profession Ski Instructors of America.
Scott is a creative individual and has the ability to teach himself anything that he has an interest in. This ability enabled him to get a US patent; number 7,690,631,631 B2. He loves to share his knowledge and coach people to achieve their full potential.
