Tom has 35 years of experience in domestic and international
sales and executive management, strategic account group growth and development. He has worked closely with senior executives, managers and top sales managers, as well as top sales and marketing executives from leading companies to help them significantly grow market share. This includes dozens of the world’s leading financial product distributors covering all types of financial products as well as all types of distribution systems. Tom knows that it’s not just good enough to lead from the top, to be successful with one’s people investments, you must get in the trenches.

Working exclusively with executives and teams, Tom’s focus is on helping clients understand their goals to create and deliver better results from more productive activity including daily organization, follow up, presentations and phone calls. Also, Tom is known and well respected for a consultative and discrete approach to working with clients to help them make strategic partner and distribution decisions including the hiring of competitors to make the size of the pie larger. He knows that it’s not just about your slice of the pie, it’s all about making the pie larger. In addition to working with the executive level, Tom has personally traveled with close to 1,000 wholesalers going door-to-door to help educate and make field people more productive. Tom is an expert at helping people understand their purpose to help them reach their goals. Known as an excellent speaker, he has presented educational material to groups of over 1,000 at national sales conferences, industry conferences, seminars and break-out sessions domestically and overseas. Over the last 10 years, he has spent countless hours introducing new trading technology and methods to over 400 asset management firms as well as the world’s largest broker dealers and asset owners to enhance profitability through better business processes.
BACKGROUND
Tom received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Colorado State University. He began his career overseas in international aircraft sales. Upon his return to the US, he worked as financial consultant for Merrill Lynch. He continued his career in both retail branch management for Fidelity Investments as well as institutional sales. He grew and led national sales, key account management and the largest business group for Janus.
Tom lives in the Colorado mountains, enjoys a physical challenge outdoors and is an active commercial pilot and high school robotics coach and mentor to Regis Jesuit’s varsity team. Quality time with his wife and family drive his happiness. On the slopes at Breckenridge! Circa 2016
